Hi! I am looking for a bungalow in Haad Tien. Apart from the Sunctuary, i cannot find anything else though i m sure there s way more. Also, the sanctuary is asking for about 40 usd for a bungalow with private bathroom and hot shower. i ve never been to thailand but something tells me that it is quite expensive for the place. Am i right? thanks!

Hello Valee, we can find you a private house to rent in this area, and since you stay 3 month I'm sure we can get you a discout too. The all the north side is quite ... in contrast to the busy and loud south side of the island ... maybe you are better off in the Nort West side around Srithanu - Chaloklum we have nice houses to rent and Thongsala is easy to reach. Hello' I went to Samui Island last september of 2004. I did not had a chance to get to Phangan Island. This year I am planing to go again around the same month. I will be there for three months. I am a vet student and would like to valunteer at Phangan Humane society. I am interesting to rent a bungalow somewhere in North East because the website said that it is more quiet area. I like it nice and quiet. The question is that, would it be easy to get a ride to Thongsala. Thanks

Hi!! I´m Bille from Klippan Sweden, first time I was on Kho Phangan was more than 15 years ago, I fell in love with the place at once, at that time Haad rin beach was still more than endurable though... Been travelling all over da world and 2001 I decided to go back, this time I preferred staying in a house in Hin Kong, most o da time, after a year I went home for some reason... don´t know why now... and tried to be normal, even took care of this puppie to make sure I wouldn´t be on the plane next autumn again but.... Gee, anyone know what takes to bring a dog to thailand... And u think a 70 kg black rotweiler would adjust and feel comfortable in that kinda climate... Anyway, love the site makes me feel a bit closer to the island. Bille
