HI Do you have any more info on houses to buy in Had Rin? Not to rent. Also the roads is def the worst problem in Phangan. If people don't like the full moon parties then there's plenty of quiet places like Had Yao to go or better still another island!! Thanks nikki xx

Greetings all, My name is don and I live in the USA...or should is say, i am done living in the USA. I first visited Phangan in 2000 for the "Full-moon party" that everyone in Asia was talking about. I had a wonderful time that night, a little to wild for me for though. The next morning while everyone was sleeping off the night before I took off on my motorcycle exploring the island. i was amazed with my findings! As a child I dreamt of exotic place like Phangan with its mountains, jungles, waterfalls and unspoiled beaches. Then with no luck, I spent most of my 20's searching for such places that could come even close to my expectations. My heart was content that first morning riding the rural roads of my childhood paradise. Now in my late 30’s and after returning to Phangan several times, I have decided to explore working and living opportunities on the island. This is where you come in. I need ideas and incite. I would like to purchase some land and build a small resort on or near the beach. I am also open to purchasing an existing business. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know how to get started?
