Thanks Klaus,

I remember you and your friends / family ... you were in fact that this time one our first customers from Germany. Nowadays I have hardly time to meet with our customers, one of a few negative aspects of our success ;-)

Since the launch of http://www.PhanganBungalows.com, it got really busy for us.

This messageboard here is now somehow not what it was before ... with the ANTI-Spam thing hardly anybody writes something anymore ... but I'm alos sure if I take it off ... it will be full of viagra advertisement crap again and I'm tried of cleaning it up ...

Simon

Greetings all,
My name is don and I live in the USA...or should is say, i am done living in the USA. I first visited Phangan in 2000 for the "Full-moon party" that everyone in Asia was talking about. I had a wonderful time that night, a little to wild for me for though. The next morning while everyone was sleeping off the night before I took off on my motorcycle exploring the island. i was amazed with my findings!

As a child I dreamt of exotic place like Phangan with its mountains, jungles, waterfalls and unspoiled beaches. Then with no luck, I spent most of my 20's searching for such places that could come even close to my expectations. My heart was content that first morning riding the rural roads of my childhood paradise. Now in my late 30’s and after returning to Phangan several times, I have decided to explore working and living opportunities on the island.

This is where you come in. I need ideas and incite. I would like to purchase some land and build a small resort on or near the beach. I am also open to purchasing an existing business. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know how to get started? Laws, regulations on foreigners, etc.-any information is very much appreciated. Please feel free to email of even call me. My email is: donzbox@hotmail.com and my phone number is 001-425-246-3275. Thanks for taking the time…

Sincerely,

Don Stephanian

But I guess that the waters will have subsided by the end of January. We hope ;-) Anywhere to definitley steer clear of these days Simon? I fancy staying in the time warp area of
Plaay laem any opinion on Porn Sawarn?? Gladly appreciated. Also I know you live near some of the cuttlebone Kitesurf crew Just wondering if any of them are reading this and are looking to sell a 16 metre kite? then they may have a buyer if it's cheap. You can give them my direct E-mail if need be. So Simon How do you fancy your chances in the World Cup?

Hi

I did mean you Simon. The Lake in Srithanu, Is that Laem Son, or is there another inland lake round that way?

I never really spent much time in SriThanu. You been there for a long time?
I know they have a school and along the high street, if you can call it that, I had a friend who raved about the som tam that you can find with some pretty good kai yang.

Talking of food. Do you ever enjoy Moo gra-ta..(Think thats its phonetic..thai BBQ that you cook at your own table with the pork fat and the soup broth). I love that stuff..shame that fire hazard laws seem to prohibit any restaurants serving it in the UK.

As I said before I really like your site. You got some neat little touches like the daily weather report. I also like the calssifieds section. My girlfriend and I hung out on KPG for a year a few years ago, we always talked of how such an exchange website would be well greeted. Infact, we sold all of our housely posseesions in such a short time when we left, I guess it showed a real demand for 2nds. Has it been used much?

How is Koh Phangan at the moment?

Take care & enjoy
