| 02nd August 2005 - 11:35:13 PM | | 123 : Tessa | | Thank you for answering :) I like it stormy and windy sometimes as well. But I have to have some sunny days too;) And the weather forecasts for Koh samui are definantly not reporting sunshine. By the way, are there any web sites that shows the weather on Koh phangan?(not based on the weather on koh samui, as the majority of the weather sites is?? |
| 02nd August 2005 - 09:35:06 PM | | 122 : Simon | | If anybody id curious about the previous entry date ... this server is located in germany ... and the guestbook is in local time ... the weather is quite typical for time this season ... but still there are always days without any rain in between ... but not much sun lately ... |
| 02nd August 2005 - 09:31:31 PM | | 121 : Simon | | Weather Report North - West of Koh Phangan ... Wed. 3. August 2005 ... stormy, windy ... but I like it like that ... |
| 02nd August 2005 - 08:44:32 PM | | 120 : Tessa | | Hello! I was wondering the same as Robin below here...how is the weather? How has the weather been recently? I see that weather reports about Koh samui does not look good..according to various forecasts the weather has been bad for the past three weeks. But I`m having trouble finding some solid reports about the weather on phangan. So anyone? :) |

| 20th July 2005 - 09:21:51 AM | | 117 : Simon | Hi David,
Motorbike Taxis are pretty much gone since a few years ... I liked them. But anyway I guess Scott can walk the 5 minutes from "Drop Inn" to the Haad Rin Party Beach.
By the way, the road from and to Haad Rin is now much better than it was ever before ... not that this means it would be safer now ... |
| 19th July 2005 - 04:05:50 PM | | 116 : David | | Oh deary me!! What ever happened to the motorbike taxi and the use of legs? |
| 19th July 2005 - 06:46:54 AM | | 115 : Andrew | | I far as I know they even have a pickup service at 'Drop In', once you arrived on the island, just call them by phone. |
| 18th July 2005 - 03:57:27 PM | | 114 : David | Sebastian
Sorry mate, does that mean that Scott cannot walk the 3 minutes to the party or is it a regulation you pollute the planet by motorised transport? Heavens above !!!
Hello to Nynke from David from England. I am posting some photos of silvery Moon soon onto this great site. All from 89-93 I do hope you enjoy them |
| 08th July 2005 - 12:53:08 PM | | 112 : Nynke | Hi there,
My name is Nynke from Holland. My last visit to Ban Kai, Booms cafe and Silvery Moon, was in 1997 (I was there during the '90 almost every year). Is there someone outthere who knows this place as nice as I do remember it and who has been there recently. Maybe you are there right now or going soon; if so, please say hello to Nok and Bengt at Boom's and Deo from Silvery Moon.
I do hope they left that place alone.
Greatings... |
| 03rd July 2005 - 09:25:51 AM | | 111 : Malee | | Dear Scott please tell me , when you are planing to travel to Phangan, then i can make reservation for you. |

| 28th June 2005 - 06:22:13 PM | | 109 : Simon + Lee | Hello Friends of KPG,
Me and Malee are on our way back from the visa trip to Burma ... I had to try out my new chopper ... works great. Sorry for all delayed emails ...

| 22nd June 2005 - 06:54:56 PM | | 108 : Simon | I'm back from BKK, we needed to get a few more rental bikes because of the high demand.
I have to sell my good old YAMAHA Bike, I drove accident free the last 4 years, before a friend of me owned it. It's still in a very good condition. With all papers for 14.000 Baht.
Have a look at the classified add:

| 17th June 2005 - 03:40:27 PM | | 107 : Simon+ | Hi Jonny, and everybody else who want to join to setup a public gallery ... I would like to send you FTP Account ... so we can collect, categorize and name galleries of photos ... I need your email addresses ... send them please to:
simon@phanganisland.com
I would use a simmilar thing like in:
http://phanganisland.phanganbungalows.com/gallery/Koh%2BPhangan/
... but with more description to each picture and of course a new surrounding layout.
And Scott:
if things running well, you should be able to book "Drop In' or 'PhanganBuri' from our website in a few days / weeks ... I'm quite busy at the moment with http://www.thai4fun.com

| 17th June 2005 - 01:06:37 AM | | 106 : seville | Drop In Club is up and running. And Phanburi is also. I guess you mean one of these. Can't help you on the rest.
Except that the people who want the big resorts are for sure the developers and people who stand to make money building them. As far as does the average person coming to Phangan want them, my guess is no, but I don't know how we take an accurate poll. |
| 16th June 2005 - 05:06:01 PM | | 105 : scott | | Hello there everyone, would anyone who lives on the island please provide me with some answers to some questions that i may have over the next few months?1....is the new resort on the main road as you come into Haadrin completed yet?i was last there in october 04 and it looked to be nearly up.Also is there any way of knowing how many people visit the island in a year.I have read that less travelers are coming,so with hotels going up and land for sale i can only assume that the people to be want another Samui. If someone could answer these for me and some more later il be most grateful cheers Scott. |
| 16th June 2005 - 08:08:20 AM | | 104 : Johnies | So..... would anyone like to set up a open source Phangan Ecology website, I would be more than happy to contribute towards such a site.
It could include arial photos of Forestly land in the hope that no one will try and encrouch onto it in the future as we will point it out on the website if they do.
It could also include photos inside the jungle of the rainforest canopy and wild orchids that grow there. The site could push for National Park status for Phangan and enviromental issues like litter and waste disposal.
It could include a forum for disscusions on views on how to keep Phangan clean and beautiful.
It should be in Thai and English.
So if anyone is a good web designer and if anyone is interested then let it be known. |
